Adoption is a Biblical word to describe our status with our heavenly Father. We are His children. He has chosen us to be his very own. As his adopted children, we are part of his family now and forever. We have full rights to the inheritance of heaven, and we also have the opportunity (and obligation) to live according to his family rules.
