Episode #140: A Conversation about Communion

Saints Peter and Paul - Houghton, MI

In this week's episode, Aaron and Kevin have a conversation about communion. We have a God who communes with us as his people and he desires that we live in unity with one another.

This is different than the individualistic tendencies we have in our American culture where we often involve ourselves in things based on what we're going to get out of them. In the church, we involve ourselves, not just on an individualistic/consumeristic way, but as a fellowship of believers. We commune WITH God and we commune WITH one another.

In this conversation, Aaron and Kevin also discuss what we, as Lutheran Christians, believe about the Sacrament of the Lord's Supper, which is often called "Communion." What is happening there? What do we believe about the bread and wine? All of that is discussed and explained in this conversation.

As always, we hope you enjoy it!
